Energisa Among the 500 Best Companies in the World for Sustainable Growth

Energisa was ranked 434th in TIME’s inaugural list of the 500 best companies in the world for sustainable growth, recognized for its revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact. The ranking evaluates companies based on three dimensions: revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact, demonstrating that sustainable development can go hand in hand with financial health.

To identify companies truly advancing sustainably, TIME and Statista created a methodology combining financial indicators, such as profit and revenue, with environmental performance metrics, including carbon footprint, water consumption, waste generation, and the use of clean energy.

The financial analysis focused on revenue growth from 2021 to 2023, along with factors like liquidity, leverage, and profitability, while the environmental analysis used 2022 data. Companies that reduced their environmental impact while maintaining or improving operational efficiency scored higher. The study relied on publicly available information, such as sustainability reports and global environmental databases.

This recognition reflects Energisa’s firm commitment to future generations, guiding various ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, such as investment in renewable energy sources, progress in Amazon decarbonization, and aligning the Group’s sustainability goals with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
