ETO

The concession covers Tocantins state, including the municipalities of Palmas and Araguaína, which account for nearly 40% of local consumption. In terms of individual sectors, residential consumption accounted for nearly half of local energy consumption, driven by the warmer weather experienced in most of the year. The trade sector is the second largest energy consumer, followed by industry and rural activities, especially food production, above all animal protein, soy and corn products and segments related to the construction and agricultural inputs chain.

ERO

The concession covers Rondônia state, including the capital Porto Velho, which accounts for nearly 1/3 of local consumption. In terms of individual sectors, residential consumption accounted for nearly half of local energy consumption, driven by the warmer weather experienced in most of the year. The trade sector is the second largest energy consumer, followed by industry and rural activities, especially food production, above all animal protein and dairy, and segments related to the construction chain.

EAC

The concession covers Acre state, including the capital Rio Branco, which accounts for nearly 2/3 of local consumption. In terms of individual sectors, residential consumption accounted for approximately half of local energy consumption, driven by the warmer weather experienced in most of the year. The trade sector is the second largest energy consumer, followed by rural and industry activities, especially food production, above all animal protein, timber and segments related to the construction chain.

Northeast

EPB e EBO

The EPB+EBO covers Paraíba state, including the municipalities of João Pessoa and Campina Grande. The residential sector led consumption, accounting for more than 40% of local electricity consumption, driven by the warmer weather experienced in most of the year. Trade and industry are the next highest energy consumers, fueled by textile, footwear, cement and food production. Rural consumption was driven by sugar producers.

ESE

The residential sector accounts for the highest consumption in the concession covering Sergipe state, including the municipality of Aracajú, with more than 40% of local electricity consumption, driven by the warmer weather experienced in most of the year. The trade sector is the second largest energy consumer, followed by industry, especially textile and food production and segments related to the construction and oil and gas sectors.

Midwest

EMT e EMS

The Group’s concessions in Midwest Brazil are heavily dependent on agribusiness, especially the grain and animal protein production chains. In addition to the local economy, the dynamic nature of these activities also impacts the energy consumption by industry and rural and commercial properties, which jointly account for more than half of the region’s electricity consumption. As a result of the warmer weather experienced in most of the year, residential consumption was also strong, accounting for roughly 35% of local electricity consumption.

South and Southest

ESS

The South and Southeast concession primarily includes municipalities in upstate São Paulo, especially Presidente Prudente, Bragança Paulista and Catanduva, which jointly account for one third of local electricity consumption. The industry has a strong presence, accounting for nearly 30% of the region’s energy consumption – the largest local participation amongst the Group’s distribution companies. Food production, paper and pulp and the vehicles sectors were behind the positive performance. Accounting for nearly 10% of consumption, the rural sector was driven by farmers in the citrus belt, on irrigation activities, egg producers, sugar factories and other entities. The residential sector accounted for the highest proportion of consumption, with more than one third of local electricity demand.

EMR

On 11/30/2022 the company ENF – Energisa Nova Friburgo was merged into the company EMG – Energisa Minas Gerais, which is now called EMR – Energisa Minas Rio. EMR’s concession covers 71 municipalities in Minas Gerais state, including Muriaé, Ubá, Manhuaçu, Cataguases and Leopoldina and two municipalities in Rio de Janeiro: Nova Friburgo and Bom Jardim. Residential consumption in Minas Gerais accounts for nearly 40% of local electricity consumption. Industry is the second largest energy consumer, especially the food, textile, furniture and mining segments. Rural consumption was driven by coffee producers. Two municipalities in Rio de Janeiro state account for more than half of the electricity consumption in local households, which experience mild weather most of the year, as they are located in the highlands. The commercial sector is the second largest energy consumer, followed by industry, also driven by metal products and textiles. These sectors jointly account for roughly 1/3 of local electricity consumption.

Transmission

Abstract

Energisa Group’s activities also include energy transmission assets resulting from the acquisitions of 8 lots at auctions. From 2017 to 2022, 4 operating concessions were acquired via the secondary market in 2021 and 2022, totaling 12 transmission concessions with transmission lines of approximately 3,227,000 km and a transformation capacity of 14,372 MVA. The consolidated Annual Operational Revenue is R$ 781.5 million, with an RAP of R$ 742.6 million (2022-23 round) and fiber-optics revenue of R$ 38.9 million.
