Consumption in August 2024: The consolidated electricity consumption in the concession areas of Grupo Energisa (3,430.7 GWh) showed an increase of 4.0% compared to August of the previous year. During the month, most sectors saw growth, especially the industrial sector (11.2%), driven by the paper and food industries, followed by the residential sector (4.8%). Temperatures remained high in most regions, but compared to August 2023, the levels were similar, as the period was marked by heat waves and above-average temperatures. Additionally, the Midwest region specifically faced cold waves, with temperatures below 20°C in Cuiabá and Campo Grande during the billing period (between July and August).
