INVESTOR RELATIONS NEWSLETTER – AUGUST 2023 BASE

Consumption in August 2023: consolidated free and captive electricity consumption (3283.8 GWh) in Energisa Group’s concessions rose by 4.6% compared with the same month last year. The sectors contributing most to the result in the month were residential and industrial. The residential sector showed the highest increase for August since 2012, driven by hot weather and a low comparison base in certain DisCos. The industrial sector, in turn, presented the highest rate of 2023, with 8 companies growing, led by the food, Oil and Gas and paper sectors.
