INVESTOR RELATIONS NEWSLETTER – JANUARY 2024 BASE

Consumption in January 2024: consolidated free and captive electricity consumption (3,499.3 GWh) in Energisa Group’s concessions rose 13.5% compared with the same month last year. The main sectors recorded growth in the month. The residential and rural sectors accounted for 71% of the consumption rise in January. Most of these sectors are in the captive market, and were affected by the longer invoicing calendar at most DisCos (0.5 fewer days on aggregate) and especially by warmer weather in most regions over the billing period. Sales would have risen by 11.8% were it not for the invoicing calendar effect.
