Energisa among most-honored companies in Institutional Investor’s 2018 Latin America rankings

Energisa has achieved yet another milestone and earned a spot in Institutional Investor’s ranking of top CEOs, CFOs, IR Professionals, IR Teams, IR Programs, Sustainability Metrics and Analyst Day events in Latin America. A total of 352 companies were nominated in the survey, and 59 were distinguished as “Most Honored" for having the most cumulative success in the rankings. The results are based on votes from 595 portfolio managers and buy-side analysts, and 329 sell-side analysts. For Best Investor Relations Program, companies were evaluated on performance attributes such as senior management access, a well informed and empowered/authoritative IR team, timely and appropriate financial disclosures, quick and thorough responses to requests, constructive conference calls and insight and useful reporting on ESG/SRI metrics.

In the Utilities segment, which spans electric, sanitation and gas utilities, Energisa was the only company to sweep the seven categories. In the corporate awards, Energisa ranked among the top three companies with the “Best Investor Relations Team”, “Best Analyst Day” events, “Best Investor Relations Program” and “Best ESG/SRI Metrics”. Individual honors went to CEO Ricardo Botelho, who was ranked among the top CEOs by sell-side analysts, and CFO and Investor Relations Director Maurício Botelho, who ranked among the top CFOs. Investor Relations Manager Mariana da Silva Rocha ranked second for Best IR Professional.
