Energisa Group earns ten awards at the 2017 Abradee Awards and becomes a leader in Customer Satisfaction
Energisa Paraíba takes National Award Mato Grosso do Sul was elected Best Company in the North/Midwest
Energisa Paraíba has received the 2017 Abradee Award for best electricity distribution company in Brazil. In addition, three other companies of Energisa Group - Sergipe, Mato Grosso do Sul and Borborema - are amongst the winners of the 19th edition of the Awards, the most prestigious in the sector. In total, the Groups four companies received ten awards in eight categories, with Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul also receiving the award for Best Company in the North/Midwest. Energisa Group received the highest score amongst competitors in the customer satisfaction index.
The winners were announced on Wednesday, 28, in Brasília. For the classification in the ranking, the Brazilian Association of Electricity Distributors (Abradee) evaluates matters related to customer satisfaction, operational management, quality and responsibility of the company.
Amongst distribution companies with more than 500 thousand consumers, Energisa Sergipe receive the award for "Best company for economic- financial and operational management". In addition to the title for Best company in the country, Energisa Paraíba received the award for Best Company in the north-east and another two awards for economic and financial management and operational management. Receiving the award for best company in the North/Midwest, Mato Grosso do Sul also received the award for Best Performance Improvement. Amongst companies with up to 500 thousand consumers, Energisa Borborema won two awards: Corporate Social Responsibility and Operational Management.
Energisa Group also received the highest score in the Perceived Quality Satisfaction Index (ISQP) compiled by Abradee. With
81.5 points, the company came ahead of six other competitors in the category, consolidating itself as the best evaluated company
by consumers in five areas: energy supply; consumer information and communications; electricity bills; customer services and
distribution company image. To reach the award winners, Abradee interviewed consumers between March and April this year.
"This achievement was remarkable, worthy of a Group which wants to be the leader and is striving to achieve this. We continuously pursue excellence to provide better and better services to our customers. This acknowledgement gives us renewed energy to continue making progress and achieving our dreams", commemorated the groups CEO, Ricardo Botelho.
The Abradee Awards have been awarded since 1999 and elects the best distribution companies in the categories: National and regional awards, management quality, customer evaluation, operational and economic-financial management, best performance improvement and corporate social responsibility. The satisfaction survey is one of the factors taken into account by the awards.
