Leveraging sustainability in support of the coronavirus response, Energisa Group donated R$ 5 million to 12 initiatives in the states where we operate, through our Energy for Good movement. These initiatives included purchasing and calibrating ventilators, handling ventilator pickup logistics, donating N-95 masks and face shields to hospitals, donating groceries, and many other actions. We also donated R$ 1.5 million to the “United against COVID-19” campaign, an initiative launched by Instituto Acende Brasil that will help the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) to produce rapid tests to diagnose the disease, and R$ 125,000 in crowdfunding to support elderly care homes in the 11 states where we operate.
